About

Albatross Images is a boutique photography and digital outfit specializing in golf landscape, lifestyle and architecture.
Founded by award-winning golf landscape photographer Christopher Fry, Albatross Images masterfully portrays subjects bathed in unique lights and compositions that are stunningly beautiful, artistic and unforgettable.
For more than a decade, Fry has established himself as not only one of the premier golf photographers in Canada, but the entire world. From modern gems like Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links on the coast of Inverness, N.S., to the classic island layout of Bermuda’s Mid Ocean Club, as well as some Stanley Thompson famed venues such as Jasper Park Lodge, Banff Springs and Burlington Golf & Country Club, Albatross Images has masterfully captured all their individual character and beauty through the camera lens.
Our Process
Shooting traditionally from the ground or from high above using the fresh birds-eye-view of a drone, Fry captures a scene and moment like no other in the game today, leaving his own creative mark on every property he shoots. His ability to see the subtle beauty and nuance of a scene comes from his life-long love affair with golf—the game, the architecture, the lighting and the stories.
Fry’s work has been published in various national and international publications including Golf Digest, SCOREGolf, Globe & Mail, Catalogue18, Caddie Mag, the PGA of Canada, Golf Canada, Royal Gazette, and countless others online. In 2018 he become the first person in the history of the Golf Journalists Association of Canada (GJAC) to receive first and second place awards for “Golf Landscape Photography.” He repeated the feat again in 2019 and 2020.
For more than 20 years, Fry has lived various roles in the golf industry and has been enjoying the beauty of golf since he was old enough to walk, some 30 years ago.
It’s this unique blend of experience and perspective in golf that is sought after by golf courses worldwide.
